The Western Wall or Wailing wall is a sacred place for the Jewish people. Both Jewish men and women come to this wall to worship their God. The part you are seeing now is just the section for the men. The section for the women is about 1/3 (or less) the size of the men's place of worship.

An Excerpt from Joey's journal, "When we visited the Western Wall, I was impressed by the devout worship that so many of the Jews engaged in. I could feel a spirit of peace, calm and reverence while I watched young and old men alike bobbing their heads while chanting or silently praying or reading from their scriptures...."

These pictures are awesome...Joey could pass as a jewish man because of his awesome side "burns"! Do they mind if you take pictures of them praying??? That was so great to see...what an amazing sight!
